Holiday get together with Mrs. Farrell and her son, Kyle. Reading, singing and playing charades. Sixth graders presented a Reader's Theater production of Bob, the Reindeer! They did a great job sharing a funny Christmas tale! We all decided to make our own reindeer headbands! We were excited to have Twinkle, the elf (aka Katie, my daughter!) visit us this afternoon! A wonderful end to our day- our festive sing along with family and friends!

Boy, did we pack a lot in to our day today! We began the day visiting with reptiles and ended our day playing bingo with 6th grade. In between we had a chance to play outside, read with Mrs. Keilty and share our book buckets with our sixth grade buddies. During our reptile assembly, I even had a chance to get kissed on the nose by a Blue Tongued Lizard! (Being a kindergarten teacher certainly makes you do crazy things!!)
Tomorrow is looking like it will be another full and memorable day! Kindergarteners have been reading many different versions of The Gingerbread Man. We noticed that there were many similarities between each version, but we also enjoyed reading about new twists and turns in each author's story. Our classroom was filled with the smells of gingerbread and cinnamon in almost everything that we worked on over the past two weeks! Enjoy the video of our Gingerbread Adventures! |
