We used our scientist eyes this morning to help us find the details in our chrysalis. Although everyone had their own unique perspective, we all referred to photographs, diagrams and our real chrysalis to help us include important details.

Last week, we had fun exploring shapes throughout our classroom and the school. First, we brainstormed a list of shapes we might see, dividing our ideas into two categories: 2D and 3D shapes. Next, we used the iPads and took photos of different shapes. We found circle clocks, triangular banners, rectangle shaped books and square windows to name only a few! After our search, we met back in the classroom to review our photos and to record some of our findings in our Math Journals. Now each time we take a walk throughout the school, we can't help but notice shapes every where! |
